Liz & Bob's Winter Wonderland Wedding

My younger brother married his best friend and sweetie pie Liz Friday night. I first met Liz when my youngest was born and she came to the hospital, he will be 5 next week. She has gone on many vacations with us and with our family during the darkest part of our lives. She has felt like a member of the family for years, and now it's official.

Thursday afternoon we headed to the hotel where the ceremony and reception took place and after getting settled into our rooms, we went to the rehearsal dinner.

Friday morning, my sister and I went to the gym for a quick, wedding morning workout. I did 35 (+5min cooldown) minutes on the elliptical and then did my Burn Your Core workout. That last plank had me shaking! I'm still a little sore today!!

Then we took all of the kiddies to the pool and chilled for a little bit in the hot tub. Late in the morning, it was time for the little girls to get their hair done.

I LOVED how their hair turned out, ridiculously adorable.

And then it was time for the rest of us to get dressed and ready for pictures.

I didn't get a close up of my shoes, but they were my favorite part of the outfit. Here's a picture from the day I bought them.

The ceremony was absolutely perfect. Liz rode down in the elevator surrounded by lights, smiling the whole way down. The Bishop performing the ceremony has known our family for years and the tribute he made for my Dad was perfect. Not a dry eye in the room. We then ate an amazing dinner and danced the night away. I don't have many pictures from in the ballroom because I just had my iPhone, but I did manage to capture this image of Karlie with her new "auntie liz" and it made my heart melt. The two of them danced and twirled and had a lot of fun on that dance floor!

Welcome to the family Liz, we love you and are so excited for you and Bobby!!!
